Advanced Loyalty Walkthrough


Introducing the newest feature at Bizness Apps, Advanced Loyalty.

With the advanced loyalty feature a business can create up to 10 perks to offer their clients.

This new loyalty feature allows business to customize:

  • The amount of points each stamp awards
  • Ability to earn points by accepting push notes
  • Choose amount of points stamps reward
  • Choose amount of points each perk tier requires
  • Gauge and thumbnail icons for each perk
  • Long descriptions and titles for each perk
  • A full info page where the business can customize their details about the loyalty program

When a user first enters the app they will be prompted to login to the feature.

Users can login with either an email address or by using their Facebook or Twitter account.

As a business owner, you will be able to receive all of the email address that are used inside your app for marketing purposes.

Business owners will also be able to see activity on the app or CMS to track your most active users.

The UI looks like this, where colors are of course customizable.

Once you receive enough points in your ‘bank’ (the number in the middle of the gauge) you will see the color of the perk change and animate with a spinning bottle cap image.

Users can attain an unlimited number of points and choose to save up points in order to redeem larger rewards.

Once a perk is redeemed, you will see the icon darkened in both the gauge and list. If the option to allow for repeated rewards is selected it will not get this darkened image.

When you expand a perk, you will see the amount of points required inside the square brackets. The user will simply hand their device to an employee at the place of business to either have their stamp made or perk redeemed.

We require the special code during the redemption step in order to prevent from accidental redemptions.

All of these customizations are easy to implement in our platform. Here are some example images for the advanced loyalty shown above.

When building your perk list, we will automatically sort them in accordance to the total number of points needed. This way the list and gauge progress will stay in line with each other.

The activities can be viewed by two sorting options, a most recents list or grouped by users to get a better overview of your clients.

The Advanced Loyalty feature can be accessed through the current loyalty tab.

Businesses are able to have both classic loyalty cards along with one or multiple advanced loyalty programs.

Bizness Apps now supports native views for the new iOS devices.

Your apps will look better than ever on these large display devices showing more content and beautiful images.

  1. Do we need to upload specific screen sizes for optimized output on iPhone 6+? If so what is it and how do we upload it for this screen size?

    • Hey Suzy,

      Since the aspect ratio for the new iPhone 6 and 6Plus is the same as the iPhone 5 and 5S it uses the same images.

      If you want to provide higher quality images, you can simply upload a larger image under the iPhone 5/6 sections.

  2. Hello!

    I love the new advanced loyalty program. Like Scott stated my customers are concerned about security on this. They would love to see QR codes and feel more comfortable with this approach as apposed to a simple code anyone can type in. Would we be able to push for this option as well?

    Also I am curious if there is anyway to have dynamic point entering system. Currently we only have a one stamp is equal to 20 points for instance. I could like to see if we could have a customers bill be 60 dollars and we type in 60 points for that. This would be most beneficial in both sales and usability. I understand they could type in 10 point perk for example 6 times but that is just not economical.

    Any thoughts? I would love to see these two features! Thanks

  4. Hi Andrew, still not quite sure where I can view or access the advanced loyalty feature? which preview apps are you referring to? And is it accessible on the loyalty feature yet?

    When are segmented pushes going to be available? That’s really killing some of us trying to compete against other platforms already offering this feature.

      Segmented push notes are in the pipeline. Shooting for a mid summer release along with some other similar upgrades! :)

    • +1 for segmented notes. This is a killer piece of functionality. I want to be able to offer people the ability to send a message to just one user, if they’ve allowed the business to. Think a garage, reminding people of an annual service. Think a hair dresser reminding people to come back for a haircut….

      We will be adding this feature to some of our test apps soon. Also we will be turning on the feature via our CMS very shortly. Stay tuned!

  7. Loyalty is one of my strongest point of sale, since I am a reseller. I think this new advanced loyalty is great. A good add on though, could be the limit of day stamps. One stamp( o in this case also points) every 24 -48-72 hours. Or add some safety feature. Business owners very often are worried to give the secret code to the employee, because the employee can stamp the card of a friend, givng him (5 stamps at a time) or now with point 1000 point at a time:( or can give out the secret code. At least the limitation to the use of loyalty for 24 hours could stop a bit the possible fraud … or a sorta of alarm in admin panel.. suspect activity of email [email protected] 2000 points this week. I would be glad to hear your feed back about this issue . While on the other side the user could take a picture of a QR code loyalty and scan it at home without going out to the store. Qr codes generated in within the Apps should have a sorta of watermark , example: ” they dont work if they are not the original one generated within the app”. Im sorry to be so long but since we talk about new Loyalty i would like to know what also can be done about safety.

    • Hey Phil, great points above. We’re definitely working toward an improved safety system for the Loyalty tab. As you know, it’s tough even with the old fashioned paper stamp card to prevent employee (and customer) abuse, but time restrictions are a good start. We’re always tossing ideas around on this topic and will release more news as it comes!
