nice. How does the loyalty stamp work so the business owner ONLY can stamp a visit?

It uses a secret code that the business can dictate on their end. They can make the code as long or short as they’d like, and change it as often as they’d like.

Will we have to republish any apps that we want these features to be available on? If so, are there any that will work without a republish?

All features require you to republish your apps if they are live.

We have many new tab features that we will be implementing next quarter, but this update was focused entirely on redesigning our existing features.

When will these features be “live” and what do we need to do to start utilizing them in apps we have already published?

All apps uploaded starting Monday, will use these new features. The only thing you really need to do is update your “colors” on step 3.

So does this revert back for the apps that are already live? What do we need to do with them to be able to use the new features?

Hi, this all looks great, and one feature which I believe is LONG overdue, is PUSH NOTIFICATIONS PLAYING AN AUDIBLE SOUND! This is currently not an option, or configurable for Apple, at least not anywhere I have been able to find. This would be HUGE!

When will you implement localized auto push based on the proximity to the business. In other words the person gets a push notification with an offer when they get within a certain distance of the business.

This is a great update, I would love it if the Tip calculator currency could be changed to which ever currency you required. Im based in the UK and I would love to provide the tip calculator to clients in the UK.

I really wish we could GPS directly from the Events Tab. Also, an in-app search feature that allows users to be able to key-word search an entire tab.

It would be great if you could add to the location tab something like “Find your Nearest Store!”
And it automatically chooses the closest store based on your location or zip code.
Plus I hope u added an optional category section to the Reservation Tab

Guys these look great! When are we going to get a quantity option on the order forms for merchandise and food ordering? So if someone wants to order 3 sandwiches, they don’t have to place an order for each sandwich, just once choosing a quantity of 3. Looking forward to getting that implemented!

On the example app you provided within the tip calculator tab you cant set the tip to 0%, maybe it was just me:P, This may sound weird for the Americans out there but we don’t generally provide a tip in Australia..

For international clients we generally recommend linking in a tip calculator that is web based with a “website tab”. If you search around you should be able to find one that should fit your needs online for free.

You guys are constantly innovating to keep us ahead of the curve — great work! When will you have Tell-a-Friend send a download link that works with BOTH Apple and Android? This is an incredible viral feature … but it does not make sense to send an Android link to someone with an iPhone and vice versa… The graphics in this update look nice… but when will you fix Tell-a-Friend and make it a REAL feature?

Okay, I was pretty hard on you all…and uneasy about continuing with Business Apps. I WAS WRONG…things are happening and i’m happy with the direction of things. thanks….

Hey Joe, we completely agree and are working on something for this feature. The issue is there’s no real way to know what type of phone the other person has. One option is to maybe include both links in the iTunes fields and the Android fields. I will pass along your feedback though to help improve this feature.

Are you going to have picture previews for merchandise tab options.

I’m building a directory for different organizations members. Can you please look at adding a call, email, text button within the screen where their name and picture appears.This will help so the person can pull up the member and they can communicate instantly with that member in one step via text icon button, email icon button or calling icon button.

what is the plan to be able to do more targeted push messaging based on different data points.. for example (by phone type, or other data point captured perhaps from different wufoo forms) ? The would allow the messaging to be more targted and relevant, vs having to push the same message out to all
