Is there an app for that?” I hear it on a daily basis, and not just from my appreoccupied coworkers. Whether it’s finding the nearest 24-hour drugstore or ordering 17 ripe mangos at 2 in the morning, everyone wants an app that does it.

The basic, mundane routines of life are vastly improved when they don’t include a phone call, email, or, worst-case scenario… visit to a business! So naturally, we collectively sigh in relief when we find an app that does it for us.
